The International Office of Universitas Jember invites students, academics, and youth delegates to participate in the Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2026 Batch 2, hosted by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation. The organizing committee has officially extended the deadline for its fully funded scholarship applications, offering young innovators a broader opportunity to join this international flagship program in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Now in its sixth edition, the summit will run from December 7 to 10, 2026, under the theme “Beyond Limits: Youth Leading the Next Era of Innovation and Global Stability.” The initiative serves as a global platform grounded in the spirit of “Together for Ummah,” bringing together emerging leaders to address critical challenges in sustainable community development.
At the core of the summit are the International Symposium and the Project Competition on Muslim Community Development. Participants will collaborate to pitch impactful initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically focusing on SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Key Application Dates:
- Fully Funded Registration (Extended): Open through August 31, 2026
- Self-Funded Registration: Open through November 11, 2026
The International Office encourages the Universitas Jember community to take advantage of this international exposure and submit their applications before the respective deadlines.
