Join the University of Occupational and Environmental Health (UOEH) International Symposium 2026: Call for Participants and Poster Presentations

The International Office of the University of Jember (UNEJ) is pleased to share an invitation from the University of Occupational and Environmental Health (UOEH), Japan for the UOEH International Symposium 2026.

This year’s symposium will be held on 13–14 November 2026 in a hybrid format (onsite at UOEH, Japan, and online via Microsoft Teams), under the theme:

“Designing Sustainable Work, Well-being, and Society – From Individual Well-being to Sustainable Society.”

The symposium will bring together researchers, academics, professionals, and students from around the world to discuss how sustainable work environments can improve health, well-being, resilience, and contribute to a more sustainable society.

Call for Poster Presentations

Participants are also invited to submit abstracts for the Poster Presentation Session, which will take place on the morning of 14 November 2026. Abstracts related to the symposium theme are welcome.

Registration

The registration fee is JPY 10,000. However, the fee is waived for:

  • Undergraduate students
  • Postgraduate students
  • UOEH faculty members
  • Participants from eligible developing countries (including Timor-Leste, Bangladesh, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, and several African countries).

Researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students interested in occupational health, public health, sustainability, and related fields are encouraged to participate in this international symposium.
