The International Office of Universitas Jember announces that applications are now officially open for the 7th Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2027. Organized by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation, this prestigious international forum dedicated to youth empowerment and innovation will take place from March 25 to 27, 2027, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Carrying the overarching theme “Empowering Emerging Leader for Positive Change within the Islamic Brotherhood,” MEYS 2027 serves as a global platform under the spirit of “Together for Ummah.” The summit aims to empower young Muslim leaders to actively contribute to building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities worldwide.
The three-day international event will highlight two core activities: an International Symposium and the Social Project Muslim Community Development Competition. Through these channels, delegates from various countries and backgrounds will collaborate and present impactful initiatives designed to address key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focusing on Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). The deadline will be on November 20, 2026.
Members of the Universitas Jember academic community, including students and young leaders interested in international development, are strongly encouraged to apply and share this opportunity across their professional networks. Detailed information regarding the summit, eligibility, and application guidelines can be accessed directly through the official Youth Break the Boundaries Poster.
