The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Regional Office Jakarta has officially announced the opening of the scholarship applications for the DAAD University Summer Courses 2027. This fully funded program invites foreign students to participate in intensive language, cultural studies, and specialized technical language courses hosted directly at renowned German universities during the summer period.
Designed to offer students a firsthand experience of academic and cultural life in Germany, the program is primarily open to currently enrolled Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students from all academic disciplines who are at least 18 years old. Final-year Bachelor’s students who plan to continue their studies toward a Master’s degree are also encouraged to apply. To qualify, candidates must demonstrate a minimum German language proficiency level of B1 through recognized certificates such as onSET, TestDaF, Goethe-Institut, DSD, DSH, telc, or ÖSD. Generally, official language certificates must not be older than one year at the time of application.

- Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled at a university outside Germany throughout the application process and course duration.
- Award Limit: The DAAD University Summer Course scholarship can only be received once per individual recipient.
- Commitment: Selected scholars are expected to demonstrate a personal commitment to environmental sustainability throughout the program.
