Two Students join the International Enrichment Program in Perth, Australia

Early September presented a significant challenge for two students from the University of Jember (UNEJ), who have been selected to represent the university in the International Enrichment Program, taking place from September 6–15, 2024. This program is organized by the Western Australia – East Java University Consortium (WAEJUC), with Curtin University in Perth, Australia serving as the host.

The 10-day program integrates academic activities such as lectures and workshops across five universities in Western Australia. In addition, a competition will be held in which participants will present their learning outcomes and ideas to strengthen WAEJUC through a 3-minute presentation. A distinctive feature of the program is the social and cultural component, where participants will engage with students and academics from various universities in Western Australia.

A total of 15 participants from Indonesia attend this program, including two students from UNEJ: Riska Bunga Rosmalia Putri from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and Abdillah Zyshan Elhamdy Chamdan from the Faculty of Medicine (FK). They have been selected through a rigorous process conducted by the International Services and Partnerships Center – LPMPP. During their participation, the students will receive financial support from multiple sources, including their faculties, programs, and the university itself.
