At this point, you may still be abroad. Therefore, your university in Indonesia should help you with the application process to get your Study Permit from the Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education. The documents you need to submit to apply for a Study Permit includes (all well scanned format):
- Your passport ID Page;
- Recommendation Letter issued by your university;
- Letter of Acceptance from University of Jember;
- Academic transcript and records;
- Recent photograph;
- a Letter of Financial Guarantee or a sponsorship certificate which proves you can cover your study and living expenses; and
- Health certificate;
- Health Insurance
- International Flight booking Ticket
After your Study Permit is issued, the Directorate General of Higher Education will forward it to the Immigration Department Head Office in Jakarta, so they can issue your visa.
