The Education Division of Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) Jakarta is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for students of Universitas Jember to participate in the Mandarin Summer Camp 2026 hosted by Da Yeh University, Taiwan.
The program will take place from July 22 to August 4, 2026 (2 weeks) and is open to undergraduate (S1) students from all academic backgrounds who are interested in learning Mandarin and experiencing Taiwanese culture firsthand.
Program Overview
The Mandarin Summer Camp is designed as an immersive program combining intensive Mandarin language learning with cultural exploration. Participants will engage in interactive language classes alongside various outdoor and cultural activities that provide insights into daily life and traditions in Taiwan.
This program also offers valuable opportunities to enhance intercultural communication skills, broaden global perspectives, and build international networks.
Program Fee and Coverage
This program is partially funded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Participants are required to pay 12,000 NTD (approximately IDR 6,000,000).
The fee includes tuition for Mandarin classes, outdoor and cultural activities, on-campus dormitory accommodation, three meals per day, airport pick-up service, and a certificate of participation.
Eligibility
The program is open to active undergraduate students of Universitas Jember from any field of study who have an interest in Mandarin language and Taiwanese culture.
To obtain approval from Universitas Jember, applicants must prepare the following documents:
- Student ID Card (KTM)
- Latest academic transcript
- Proof of foreign language proficiency (optional)
- Recommendation letter from Head of Study Program
- Statement letter of financial capability

Through this initiative, Taipei Economic and Trade Office encourages Universitas Jember to collaborate in nominating and delegating qualified students to participate in this international program. The Deadline will be closed on May 12, 2026
