Prefectural University of Hiroshima (PUH), Japan, invites students to take part in its Student Exchange Program for the Fall 2026 semester, offering a valuable opportunity to experience academic life and cultural immersion in Japan.
Through this program, students will engage in a dynamic learning environment while expanding their global perspective at one of Japan’s reputable public universities.
To ensure a smooth application process, applicants and partner institutions are advised to pay close attention to the following updates.
Beginning with the Fall 2024 intake, all partner universities are required to submit a preliminary list of nominated students.
For the Fall 2026 semester, this nomination list must be submitted by April 16, 2026, followed by the deadline for complete application documents on April 30, 2026.

Applications that are incomplete after the deadline will not be processed.
In terms of academic offerings, it is important to note that courses in English are currently not available for the Faculty of Regional Development. However, students who have achieved JLPT N1 level or higher are eligible to enroll in courses conducted in Japanese and are welcome to apply for the exchange program.
For applicants who are mid- to long-term residents holding Vietnamese or Philippine nationality, an additional requirement applies. They must submit a TB Clearance Certificate issued by a designated medical institution when applying for the Certificate of Eligibility.
