Overview
This year, University of Jember offers Partial scholarship. This scholarship which entails a reduction in tuition fees, and some benefits to admitted applicants, is available for offshore international applicants (foreign nationals without Indonesian KITAS/KITAP). There is no need for applicants to submit a separate application for the partial scholarship. The scholarship will be assessed based on the entrance test result and will be announced upon acceptance into the program.
Partial scholarship schemes typically cover only a portion of the total cost of education. The coverage can vary widely depending on the scheme scholarship and university’s fund. This program targets prospective international student who interest to join a master and doctoral degree program in the University of Jember. Through UNEJ scholarship program, UNEJ can participate in providing opportunities for foreign students and contribute to global education.
Applicants must:
- Be non-Indonesian citizens (those who hold Indonesian citizenships are not
- eligible);
- Show a strong interest in seeking a master and doctoral degree program at
- UNEJ;
- Be willing and able to attend an interview over a video call;
- Not have hold refugee status;
- Not have been convicted of felony or significant criminals which caused the
- applicant to be prisoned;
- Have additional financial supports;
- have an academic-level proficiency in English
- Complete all the required documents.
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree and/or Master degree certificate;
- The latest Academic Transcript of records (GPA > 3.25);
- Letter of Financial Guarantee;
- Recommendation letters (form provided);
- Letter of Health Statement;
- Letter of motivation (form provided);
- Letter of Statement (form provided);
- Passport’s ID page;
- Photograph;
- English Proficiency Certificate for non native English speaker country.

Benefits of Partial Scholarship
This scholarship program is intended for anyone who meets the requirements to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree. Benefits from scholarship (for 24 months [Master Degree] or for 36 months [for Doctoral Degree]):
- Tuition Fee waive;
- Heath Insurance;
- Visa and student permit (will be reimbursed);
- UNEJ Student dormitory (sharing room, optional);
- Airport Pick-up (arranged by International office);
- Indonesian language course.
There is no special application form for applicants to submit by applicant for the partial scholarship. The scholarship will be assessed based on the entrance test result and will be announced upon acceptance into the program.

- Create an account at https://admission.unej.ac.id/
- Access the “Student Admission” menu and follow the instruction of admission procedure;
- Submit all required documents;
- Fill in the Scholarship application form (DOWNLOAD) and submit to Rector of the University of Jember by sending the application through the International office’s email at internationaloffice@unej.ac.id
- Waiting the selection process.
Applications will be evaluated based on the application form and the required enclosures. On some cases, interviewers may request the interview via teleconference for further verification processes.
