The University of Jember (UNEJ) is a public university established in 1964 in the eastern part of Java Island. Established in 1964, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Jember (UNEJ) is the institution’s oldest faculty. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember is dedicated to excellence in education, research, and community engagement in the fields of social sciences and political studies. FISIP offers multidisciplinary programs that equip students with critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of societal and political dynamics. With a strong emphasis on environmental and business perspectives within the social humanities framework, the faculty nurtures future leaders, policymakers, and professionals.

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) is one of the faculties at the University of Jember, currently offering two departments/programs: the Department/Program of Agricultural Product Technology (THP) and the Department/Program of Agricultural Engineering (TEP). Additionally, there is the Agricultural Industrial Technology Program (TIP). FTP Universitas Jember is located at Jl. Kalimantan 37, Tegalboto Campus, Jember 68121.

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), began with the establishment of the Medical Education Program in 2000 and officially became a faculty in 2006. It received national accreditation in 2011, improved to “A” in 2016, and earned “Unggul” accreditation in 2022. FK UNEJ collaborates with RSUD dr. Soebandi and regional hospitals. In 2023, it achieved international accreditation from ASIIN, strengthening its reputation in medical education and agromedicine. With strong academic programs, research, and partnerships, FK UNEJ continues to develop as a leading institution in Southeast Asia, providing high-quality medical education and healthcare innovations.

The Faculty of Public Health at the University of Jember was established following workshops in 2001–2002. Approval was granted in August 2002, with the first student intake in 2002/2003. It became a faculty in 2007 and earned accreditation in 2009. The Nutrition Program was later proposed, approved in 2018, and began admissions in 2018/2019. Leadership transitioned in 2020. The faculty continues to expand its academic programs in line with scientific and technological advancements.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jember (FF UNEJ), aims to excel in pharmaceutical science and technology with an environmental, business, and agro-pharmacy focus. Established in 2003, it is committed to producing high-quality, ethical, and competitive pharmacy professionals. The faculty offers three programs: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Pharmacist Professional, and Master of Pharmacy. With thousands of graduates, FF UNEJ enhances communication through its website, connecting academia, stakeholders, and the public with accessible information about its programs and developments.

Vision: Becoming an Excellent Faculty of Pharmacy in the Development and Implementation of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology with an Environmental, Business, and Agro-Pharmacy Perspective.

The establishment of the Nursing Science Study Program at the University of Jember began in December 2001, driven by the need for qualified nursing graduates. Officially recognized in 2005, it later became the Faculty of Nursing (FKep UNEJ) in 2017. FKep UNEJ offers a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Professional Nurse Program, structured into academic and professional stages. These programs align with Indonesia’s National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) to produce competent nursing professionals at level 7.

Vision: To become a leading Faculty of Nursing in the development of nursing science, technology, and arts with an agronursing perspective.

The Faculty of Computer Science, University of Jember (Fasilkom UNEJ), originated from the Information Systems Program established in 2009. It expanded with the addition of the Information Technology Program in 2015 and the Informatics Program in 2017, reflecting its commitment to technological advancement. Managing three study programs, PSSI-UNEJ officially became the Faculty of Computer Science in December 2017, following the Ministerial Decree No. 88/2017 on the Organization and Governance of the University of Jember.

The Postgraduate Program of the University of Jember (UNEJ) was established in 1999 with two master’s programs and officially formed in 2000. It has since expanded to manage numerous master’s and doctoral programs, supporting research-based education and academic excellence under a centralized organizational structure led by a Director and Deputy Directors.

Vision: To become a high-quality postgraduate institution with environmental insight and the ability to develop science, technology, and/or arts for the benefit of humanity, particularly in supporting industrial agricultural development.
