Join the 2026 Mandarin Summer Camp in Taiwan: A Unique Global Learning Experience

The International Office of Universitas Jember invites all active undergraduate students to join the 2026 Mandarin Summer Camp at Da Yeh University (Taiwan). This two-week program offers an opportunity to learn Mandarin while experiencing Taiwanese culture and campus life. Program will be on 22 July – 4 August 2026 (2 Weeks) and Located at Da Yeh University, Taiwan

Why You Should Join

This program is more than just a language course—it is a comprehensive international experience that combines:

  • Intensive Mandarin language classes (for beginners and above)
  • Engaging cultural workshops, including calligraphy, traditional crafts, and culinary activities
  • Field trips, including visits to iconic destinations such as Sun Moon Lake
  • Exposure to Taiwan’s higher education environment
  • Opportunities to build international networks with students from various countries

At the end of the program, participants will receive an official certificate from Da Yeh University.

Participants will engage in a structured schedule that includes:

  • Daily Mandarin classes and placement tests
  • Cultural activities such as:
    • Plant dyeing
    • Calligraphy
    • Fabric painting
    • Herbal balm and tea spray DIY
  • Final presentation and closing ceremony
  • Cultural excursions and free exploration time

Program Fee & Financial Support

Thanks to a 50% subsidy from the Taiwan Ministry of Education, students only need to pay:

IDR 6,000,000 (approx. 12,000 NTD)

This fee includes:

  • Tuition and learning materials
  • Accommodation (campus dormitory)
  • Meals (3 times daily, halal)
  • Airport pick-up and drop-off
  • Cultural activities and excursions
  • Participation certificate

Not included: Round-trip flight tickets (~IDR 6,000,000) and Visa application fee (~IDR 750,000)

Requirements

  • Active undergraduate (S1) students of Universitas Jember
  • Must have a valid passport (Passport should be ready before 30 April 2026)
