The International Office of Universitas Kara is pleased to inform you that Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is now accepting applications for its Student Exchange (Mobility) Programme for Semester 1 of the 2025/2026 academic year.
This program welcomes students from University of Jember who are interested in exploring future collaboration with UNIMAS. It offers a valuable opportunity to experience academic life and cultural diversity in Sarawak, Malaysia—a state known for its rich natural heritage and multicultural society.
Programme Information:
- Semester Duration: October 2025 – February 2026
- Application Deadline: 30 June 2025
- Eligibility:
- Full-time undergraduate students
- Have completed at least one semester at Universitas Kara
- Meet the minimum English proficiency requirement set by UNIMAS
- Fields of Study:
A wide range of programs are available across 10 faculties, including:
Engineering, Computer Science, Cognitive Sciences, Social Sciences, Resource Science, Business, Creative Arts, and more - Tuition Fees:
Waived for students from partner institutions (as outlined in the MoU/MoA)

- Students must first be nominated by the International Office of Universitas Jember
- After nomination, applicants must complete and submit the following forms:
- Mobility Programme Application Checklist Form (Inbound)
- Application Form – Student Exchange/Mobility Programme (Inbound)
- All documents will be sent to UNIMAS by International Office – Universitas Jember
